Pricing

Wedding cakes are priced by the slice. A wedding cake slice is figured at 1" x 2" x 4".

The top tier is traditionally saved and frozen for your anniversary. Therefore the top tier is not included in the number of servings, but it is included in the number of slices and thereby the overall cost of your cake.

You Dream It Cake Co. prices start at $2.25 per slice. A $2.25 slice is based on one of our basic cake flavors covered with buttercream.

Our cakes covered with fondant start at $4.00 per slice.

Overall pricing is dependent upon cake flavor, filling, and icing choice.

Extensive decoration also factors into price. However, non-elaborate decoration is included.

Sheet cakes to supplement a wedding cake order range from $1.25 per slice to $2.00 per slice depending on flavor.

Slices are 2" by2".

Additional Pricing Information

We do not charge a delivery fee for locations in the immediate area. There is minimum $50 delivery fee for locations outside the immediate area . Additional charges will apply depending on the distance.
There is no additional charge for decorating a cake with fresh flowers if they are provided. If you would like us to procure the flowers to use, we will do so based on an agreed budget.
A cake riser may be used to add height and interest. The rental fee is $40. If you decide against using a cake stand there will be a $20 deposit associated with the cake boards used, to ensure there return.

Policies

To save your date we charge a $100 non-refundable deposit. If your cake price exceeds $600 the deposit will be $200.

This deposit is put toward the overall cost of your cake. A deposit can be made in cash or check.

Please note the date of your event on the memo line of your check.

Design confirmation and the number of guests you are expecting is due one month prior to your event date. At that time cakes can be scaled up or down based on your needs.

Special order item (cake risers, plates, pillars) and handmade decorations (gum paste, fondant, royal icing, marzipan etc...) must be finalized at the time of design confirmation.

Handmade items may require up to 30 days to be made and dried appropriately.

Payment of your balance is due no later than 2 weeks prior to your event. If payment has still not been received by 72 hours before your event, we will assume that the order has been canceled.

All rental items must be returned or ready for pickup no later than 24 hours after your event.
